In 2003 White Hall held its third Clay Family Reunion. At this family gathering, White Hall, along with the Kentucky DAR and The Painted Stone Settlers, honored General Green Clay by having a tree dedicated in his memory. In this moving ceremony, bagpipes were played, an 1812 Militia Unit presented a 21-gun salute, and a wreath was laid on the General’s grave.
